WOW! We had quite the CUBBEEZX adventure today. We thought we'd get a ride in before the heavy rainfall and thunderstorm warning kicked in with Team Mud Pro on their new 700 Wildcat. Got to the beaver dam (yes the infamous beaver dam) and the beavers had been busy. We tried to find an alternate route through the long grass and Mud Pro man instead found a ditch/creek and got stuck. Now to get him out. Pulled up with the Beast, turned the knob to free spool the winch line out only to have it never engage again. We had only used it once before but I guess it now will need to be replaced under warranty. So Mud Pro man hooked his winch to our 2 quads and started pulling only to have the welds break on his front receiver hitch winch mount. He then moved the winch to the back mount. Cubbee and I went to re position our quads and BAM it seems we were parked on a hornets nest! One got inside Cubbee's helmet and stung him twice above his eyebrow and at almost the same time I got stung on the wrist. OUCH! So after 2 hours of of winching, digging, lifting and Mud Pro man up to his waist in water, we finally managed to get it out. Made then made our way to Cubbee falls and low and behold the weather forecast was right, the skies opened up. We decided to take the road home (about 10 miles) and had torrential rain the whole way with thunder and lightning all around us. It was so wet, water somehow even got in the sealed GoPro case and in the camera lense! Lucky it kept working and we've since been able to dry it out. Eventually made it back to the truck safe and sound and went home. At the time it wasn't very much fun, but at the end of the day it turned out to be an excellent Cubbeezx ATV Adventure!
