FXR RACING GEAR Review

With the end of snowmobile season just around the corner we thought it would be a good time to share our thoughts and give some feedback on the FXR Riding Gear that we used. It has been about 3 months since we first started using our FXR Gear and we had the opportunity to wear them out riding  from -25 C temperatures to +1 C.  For the most part our winters are very cold and there are not a lot of suits on the market that keep you warm and dry in our extreme riding conditions. FXR Riding Gear kept us warm and dry and with the high quality material and well thought out design with the snowmobilers needs in mind, not to mention stylish colours, FXR has scored a win in our eyes.

The FXR Torque Helmet with Breath Box has lots of padding, (a removable washable liner), is super light and fits great.  The helmet allows a perfect fit for the FXR Recruit Goggles.

The FXR NITRO Girl Jacket, Pants and Gloves in Fuchsia are not only stylish, but extremely warm and the F.A.S.T. floatation assistance technology that the suit is manufactured with, gives you a sense of security while out riding on the lakes.  There are zippered pockets everywhere and CK loves the "sleeve key pocket" and the "magnetic/snap front closure system".  The FXR X-Cross boots get high marks for their warmth and are unbelievably water resistant.  CK was standing in 8" of slushy water one day and her feet stayed toasty warm and dry!

The  FXR OCTANE Helmet gets an A+ for being so lightweight compared to any other helmet Cubbee has owned.  It is made of the lightest polycarbonate/ABS approved  to meet Snell 2010, DOT and ECE approval ratings.  It has multiple vents to circulate air through and has a removable washable Ultra Plush liner. The large eye port is an exact match for the FXR Recruit Goggle.

The  TEAM FX Jacket and Pants are newly redesigned.  The Team FX combo proves that you don’t have to sacrifice fit, performance or style when choosing a floatation suit.   Lots of zippered pockets and a removable zippered lining make this coat not only stylish but functional.  The material was so breathable and even if Cubbee worked up a sweat, he didn't get cold!  FXR definitely thought of features that are important to snowmobilers such as the soft-stretch hook & loop adjustable cuffs. "Boot storm cuffs with lace retention system" are also a great feature.

FXR Fuel Gloves  have a tough nylon shell construction with a
reinforced full grain leather palm and have a Micro fleece Lining.

The FXR TEAM Boot features a high traction outsole and
you can clean snow and ice with ease with the boot's toe and heel kick.  These boots are warm and keep your feet nice and dry even while standing in slush!
